Group hours, individual hours, and client contact hours are logged in separate categories to match California BBS documentation requirements. Nothing gets miscounted or lost.
All sessions run on Daily.co's encrypted infrastructure. Nothing is recorded without written consent, and a Business Associate Agreement is available to every supervisor on the platform.
Your supervision log includes your supervisor's name, license number, session dates, session type, and total hours. It's formatted for BBS submission and carries your supervisor's digital signature.
Write SOAP-format notes after each session and store them privately in the platform. Notes are encrypted, organized by date, and can be exported as PDFs when you need them.
Associates pay at booking. Supervisors receive their earnings within 2 business days via Stripe Connect. No invoices, no follow-up, no Venmo requests. The 12% platform commission comes out of the supervisor's payout.
California BBS guidelines allow group supervision with up to eight supervisees. We enforce that limit by design, which means every session is an actual supervision group — not a webinar.
Every supervisor's license is checked against the BBS database before their profile goes live. Background checks and platform onboarding are required. Lapsed or disciplined licenses are removed immediately.
Supervisors set their own availability. You book the time that works, recurring or one-off. Cancellations with 24 hours' notice are handled automatically with no phone calls required.
Email and SMS reminders go out before each session so you don't miss a booked hour. Supervisors are notified automatically when an associate books, reschedules, or cancels.
Clinical supervision involves real client details. We treat that seriously. Every piece of infrastructure on this platform was chosen with HIPAA compliance in mind — not added afterward.
Sessions run on Daily.co's HIPAA-compliant infrastructure. Video is encrypted in transit. Nothing is recorded by default, and recording requires a documented consent workflow.
A signed BAA is provided to every supervisor before they begin accepting supervisees. Under HIPAA, this is required any time protected health information may be disclosed during a session.
All platform data lives on AWS, which operates under a signed BAA with us. Databases are encrypted, access is restricted by private VPC, and no PHI is exposed to external services.
Every data access event is logged — who accessed it, when, and what action was taken. Logs are retained for six years to satisfy HIPAA's documentation requirements.
Associates see their own data. Supervisors see their own groups. Admins operate under audit. No role can access data outside its defined scope, and permissions are enforced at the API level.
Error monitoring and logging tools are configured to strip identifiable information before capture. This is a technical control, not just a policy — it can't be accidentally bypassed.
Associates join free and pay only for the sessions they book. Supervisors pay nothing monthly — we take a 12% commission per session, so our interests stay aligned with yours.
Supervisors set their own rates. Associates see the full session rate at booking — no hidden fees added on top. The 12% commission is deducted from the supervisor's payout, not added to the associate's cost. Stripe processing fees (2.9% + 30¢) apply separately and are deducted before payout.
